We opened our first location, Pleasantville Prep, in 2014 with one goal: to provide the highest-quality private tutoring in a warm, supportive environment. With so much pressure and stress in Westchester already, we wanted to be a place where students could not only learn from the best tutors but also rediscover the joy in learning.
We focused on building confidence and skills. Our students’ scores and grades quickly followed, as did our second location, Armonk Prep, in 2016.
Launched at the end of 2019, our third location, Scarsdale Prep, is conveniently located at 7 Popham Rd. in the heart of Scarsdale Village. New location, same mentality: offer every student and parent the best all-around, beginning-to-end tutoring experience in Westchester.
To our new clients from Chappaqua Learning Center, welcome to our family of tutoring centers. As we take over operation at 400 N. King St. as Chappaqua Prep in November, 2020, the tutors you've come to know and trust will still be available, along with the entire rest of our team.
Until updated health and safety guidance is issued, we've fully transitioned all SAT/ACT and academic tutoring as well as college planning and advising services to our online platform. Students will have access to a private video chat as well as a shared whiteboard for taking notes and uploading tests and other materials. Don't have a touchscreen available? We're delivering digital writing pads (along with physical test prep materials) with gloves and a mask on!
All mock SAT & ACT exams are also being offered remotely. Live proctors queue students through full exams and collect scanned bubble sheets for grading. This service is available for students currently preparing for the SAT/ACT or for those looking to complete their diagnostic testing. "You have all been fabulous in helping her come this far, and the kindness and support you have shown her is very much appreciated. I've got one more coming along as a sophomore next year and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else!"
