SAT & ACT PREP
$180 per session
$250 materials & testing fee
Preparing for the SAT and ACT is like learning a new sport: it takes a lot of hard work, but it's rewarding. It also requires a lot of positive encouragement all the way from building fundamental skills up through the last push for total mastery. Regardless of where a student starts out, we build a close relationship and coach them to their absolute personal best. Our measure of success is threefold: surprisingly large score jumps from diagnostic testing, wider-reaching positive impact on students' overall academics, and an unusually enjoyable test prep experience that they'll admit was actually pretty fun.
Students get their first look at the exams during initial diagnostic testing done either remotely or in our office. We turn around scores within 48 hours and provide consultation for proper test selection. Students are then paired up with two private tutors (one verbal, one quantitative) who will be with them every week throughout their preparation. While most students will attend two hours of tutoring per week for between 10 and 20 weeks, our private tutoring process is completely customized per individual student's initial level, progress, and goals.
Students can conveniently prepare with all of our tutors in our office or through our online tutoring platform, which combines 1:1 video with a collaborative online whiteboard for sharing notes, uploading exams, and marking up problems.
$150 per session general academics
$180 per session AP/AT courses
Like our SAT and ACT tutoring, our academic support is provided in private sessions and tailored to each student whether it's to keep grades up, to understand challenging concepts, or to enrich beyond the curriculum.
We have specialized experts who work with students as young as 4th grade. If you're considering supplemental academic support for a middle schooler or preparation for The Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) or Secondary School Admissions Exam (SSAT), reach out to set up an individualized plan.
For students in high school, our team covers just about every level of math, science, history, and English language arts. We work with many of our academic students weekly throughout the year to keep up their content knowledge and grades. Other students may drop in for specific help for tests, finals, or AP Exams. For students with hectic schedules, we're available for online support through our remote tutoring platform. Students can mix both in-person and online sessions with their tutors.
Seeing our students successfully head off to college isn't where we stop. We provide continuing support for students as they begin that first exciting semester and progress from there. Due to the wide variety of curricula, we assess proper coverage on a case-by-case basis. Scheduling is flexible for our college students, and connecting face-to-face through our online platform makes for convenient, productive sessions.
"I can't begin to thank you enough for taking the time out of your Sunday to meet with A. this morning. She called me with a huge smile (one I haven't seen in a very long time...when discussing college lol) and said she already feels 30 hundred billion times better!! I had to share that with you...not sure what you did, but you turned her completely around...I owe you big!! I just want you to know we all really appreciate you and all that you have done for our kids. We love you guys!"
